Rocky Mountain Wedding Showcase June 1st, 2008 The event offers one-stop shopping for mountain destination brides to plan their wedding by providing a showcase of local service providers and wedding venues in Grand County. Opening Day at Winter Park Resort June 14th, 2008 Winter Park Resort base activities including the Zephyr Lift for mountain biking, the Alpine Slide, Amaze'n Human Maze, Leaps & Bounds Bungee, Rock 'n Roll Gyro, Mountainside Mini Golf, Outdoor Climbing Wall. Habitat Hobble June 14th, 2008 This is a fun run/walk you can do with the whole family. All participants get a t-shirt, goody bag and post-race party. Ski Train

Catch a ride on the Summer Ski Train for an easy day trip to Winter Park. Trains depart Denver’s Union Station each Saturday morning starting June 21st through August 23rd, 2008, and return to Denver in the evening. American Red Cross Fat Tire Classic

The Fat Tire Classic will ride again in 2008! This year the National Sports Center for the Disabled and the American Red Cross Mile High Chapter have teamed up to put on a great event and raise a lot of money for 2 local charities. The first year will have a couple changes but be prepared for the same great biking and hiking trails along with the wonderful hospitality and atmosphere of old.
